A new, larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix® horn provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into the listening area for crisper, clearer sound. The phase plug and compression molded silicone face ensure smooth frequency response.

TRACTRIX PORT
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port allows for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies and cleaner, more powerful bass.
BI-WIRING BI-AMPING CAPABILITY
Dual input terminals on the RP-8000F II for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities separate high and low-frequency current into different speaker cables, reducing distortion for clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for further optimization of performance with separate outboard power amplifiers for the high frequency and low-frequency drivers.
JUST ADD DOLBY ATMOS
Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound with the RP-500SA speakers is incredibly easy with simple, hidden connections on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce wire visibility while holding them in place for better wire management.

EXA100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier Description
The Cambridge Audio EXA100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier, launched in October 2024 as part of the new EX Series, is a powerful and versatile hub for high-fidelity audio. Delivering 100 Watts per channel of Class AB power (into 8 Ohms), it draws on amplification technology from Cambridge Audio’s flagship Edge series for robust and refined sound.
Equipped with an ESS SABRE ES9018K2M DAC, it supports high-resolution digital audio up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256. Connectivity is extensive, featuring HDMI eARC for TV audio, USB-B for computers, multiple digital S/PDIF inputs, balanced XLR, and RCA analog inputs. Integrated Bluetooth aptX HD allows high-quality wireless streaming.
Outputs include speaker terminals, a pre-out, subwoofer out, and a headphone jack. The EXA100 also offers a Power Amp Mode for system flexibility. Its robust chassis, toroidal transformer, and refined “Lunar Grey” design make it a premium centerpiece for any modern hi-fi setup.
EXN100 Network Player Description
The Cambridge Audio EXN100 Network Player, launched in late 2024, is the streaming and DAC centerpiece of Cambridge Audio’s new EX Series. It features an ESS SABRE ES9028Q2M Reference DAC meticulously tuned with premium components for exceptional clarity and detail, supporting high-resolution PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz, DSD512, and MQA. Powered by the advanced StreamMagic Gen 4 platform, it offers seamless access to Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Internet Radio, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and is Roon Ready. Connectivity is extensive, including HDMI eARC for TV audio, USB-B/A, optical, coaxial, Ethernet, and Bluetooth aptX HD.
The EXN100 provides balanced XLR and RCA analog outputs, plus digital outputs. Its preamplifier mode allows direct connection to a power amp or active speakers. A large, high-resolution color display shows album art and VU meters. Encased in a “Lunar Grey” EX Series chassis, it’s a versatile, audiophile-grade digital hub.

CERAMETALLIC WOOFERS – ALL NEW DESIGN

New aluminum shorting rings reduce distortion as well as increased power handling and the new motor structure improve transit response with more control with greater speed and accuracy.
TRACTRIX PORTS
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.
BI-WIRING / BI-AMPING CAPABILITY
Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities. Bi-wiring separates high and low frequency current into separate speaker cables, reducing intermodulation distortion, for clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for customization using outboard crossovers when using separate amplifiers.
ADVANCED CABINET DESIGN
Additional bracing and a divided cabinet have been added to minimize cabinet resonances and vibration, for the utmost transparency and clarity.
REFINED ATMOS CONNECTIONS
Upgrading to Dolby Atmos is extremely easy with the simple and hidden connections located on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce the amount of wire seen and hold them in place for better wire management.

So, how do you make an award-winning amplifier even better? We caught up with our Head of Engineering, Nick Brown, to uncover the thinking and processes that went into the development of CXA81 Mk II.
CXA81 has evolved, developed, and improved as a product for many years through various models, even as far back as 650A to 651A, with an extensive redesign for CXA80. CXA81 has become a multi-award winning product, winning the What Hi-Fi? Best Buy award for four consecutive years.
At every stage in the CXA81 Mk II design process, we were aware that the CXA81 sound had been extremely well received, so we didn’t want to move too far away from this signature sound, which we believe to be fun, dynamic, engaging, and exciting. Our main goal was to add an extra level of definition to the current signature sound rather than a major deviation.
