Each Essence Mono amplifier delivers a conservative 55 Watts into 8 ohms, doubling to 110 Watts into 4 ohms, and 220 Watts into 2 ohms, all in pure Class A operation. This remarkable power-doubling capability underscores its immense current reserves and ability to flawlessly control any loudspeaker, regardless of its impedance. A hallmark of Gryphonās design, it operates with zero global negative feedback and boasts an ultra-wide frequency bandwidth (0.3Ā Hzā350Ā kHz), preserving the musicās natural timing and transient integrity.
Internally, the Essence Mono features a massive 1350 VA custom toroidal transformer and an astounding 880,000 ĀµF capacitor bank for instantaneous power delivery.
