The McIntosh RS250 Wireless Loudspeaker System is an all-in-one, 3-way stereo powerhouse, delivering an impressive 650 Watts of Class D amplification. It features two 4″”x6″” woofers, four 2″” midranges, and two 3/4″” tweeters, producing a robust 40Hz-20kHz frequency response.
This versatile system boasts extensive connectivity, including Spotify/TIDAL Connect, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Roon Ready, and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD. Wired options include HDMI ARC, optical, a dedicated MM phono input, and Aux. It supports high-resolution streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz. The RS250 sports McIntosh’s iconic black glass panel with illuminated logo and new digital output meters. With a subwoofer output and headphone jack, the RS250 offers premium sound and comprehensive functionality for modern homes
Features
– Includes a variety of built-in casting technologies: Spotify® Connect, TIDAL® Connect, Apple® AirPlay® 2, Bluetooth®, Chromecast, and Roon, letting you easily stream to the RS250 from your favorite streaming apps on your smart devices. Does not require any dedicated control app.
– Uses Bluetooth 5.0 with support for high bitrate Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), Qualcomm® aptX™ HD for hi res audio playback, and Qualcomm aptX Low Latency for improved audio transmission speed.
– 650 Watts of total power that is delivered to two 4” x 6” woofers, four 2” (50mm) midranges, and two 3/4” (20mm) tweeters.
– Woofer enclosure has been reengineered to reduce distortion, and a more user-friendly bass control has been added that can be used to fine tune the low-end performance. Wired subwoofer output also included.
– Features a pair of our new, quick responding illuminated digital output meters.
– Compatible with TIDAL HiFi Lossless Quality playback. Supports file streaming of up to 24-bit/192kHz. Roon Ready endpoint device. Google Assistant compatible.
– Includes: HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) input for better TV sound than soundbars can provide; optical input; a Moving Magnet phono input; a 3.5mm AUX input; and a 1/4” headphone jack.
