The McIntosh MT2 Precision Turntable offers a high-fidelity gateway to vinyl, arriving ready-to-play with a pre-mounted, high-output Moving Coil (MC) phono cartridge. Its belt-drive system, powered by a Swiss-made DC motor, ensures precise 33 1/3 and 45 RPM playback.
The dynamically balanced POM platter features distinctive green illumination, while the dural-aluminum tonearm with ceramic bearings provides accurate tracking. The multi-layered chassis, blending polished stainless steel, acrylic, and aluminum, meticulously suppresses vibrations for exceptional clarity. With adjustable feet and a custom dust cover, the MT2 marries McIntosh’s iconic aesthetic with meticulous engineering, offering a quiet, stable, and sonically rewarding vinyl experience right out of the box.
