Crafted with Sonus faber’s signature Italian artistry, these compact speakers are designed to enrich smaller listening spaces with genuine high-fidelity sound.
At its heart, the Lumina II Amator features an upgraded crossover network, inheriting technologies from Sonus faber’s flagship Homage collection. This enhancement results in a more precise, coherent, and musical presentation, revealing finer details and a wider soundstage. It incorporates the acclaimed 29mm Damped Apex Dome™ (DAD) tweeter for smooth, extended highs and a 150mm paper cone mid-woofer for natural, dynamic mid-bass.
Aesthetically, the Lumina II Amator is a true Sonus faber, combining premium black leather on the top and sides with a striking high-gloss wood veneer (Walnut, Wengé, or Red) on the front baffle, featuring a unique 45-degree herringbone pattern. This exquisite blend of materials, along with its compact, elegant form factor, makes the Lumina II Amator as visually stunning as it is sonically engaging. Tweeter
The iconic D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter, the same used in the Sonetto series, features a Kurtmueller hand coated soft silk diaphragm of 29mm. The chrome rings around the drivers highlight their shapes and proportions and give brightness to the front baffle.
Midwoofer
Lumina II Amator features a 4’’ midwoofer developed for this collection. It is equipped with a custom-made basket and a diaphragm composed of cellulose pulp blended with other natural fibers.
IFF Crossover
The IFF circuitry and the phase coherent philosophy ensure perfect rendering of the virtual sound stage in three dimensions. The new filters also offer greater resolution and more rigorous and coherent reproduction.
