This 3-way, horizontal loudspeaker is designed to seamlessly integrate with the Sonetto floorstanding and bookshelf models, creating a cohesive and immersive soundstage.
At its core, the Sonetto Center II features a sophisticated driver array: Sonus faber’s renowned 29mm D.A.D.™ tweeter for pristine highs, dual 150mm natural fiber midrange drivers for transparent vocals, and dual 150mm aluminum cone woofers for powerful, articulate bass. This combination ensures every whisper and explosion is delivered with stunning detail and dynamic force.
The elegant, hand-finished cabinet, often topped with luxurious leather, reflects Sonus faber’s iconic Italian craftsmanship. Its “Paracross Topology” crossover optimizes driver integration for a wide, precise soundstage. The silk dome tweeter with the DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology is placed in the centre channels’ front panel, with two 150mm midranges with the natural fibre and paper blend air dried diaphragm and the Sonus Faber die cast basket. Once again the combination of these drivers, made with natural materials, ensures the typical timber of the brand and make the “Voice of Sonus Faber”. For an optimal lowest frequencies reproduction, a special aluminium alloy diaphragm has been designed. It allows an ultra-fast, tight and yet deep bass performance.
LUTE SHAPED
The lute shape that characterises most of the Sonus Faber models, offers a solution that ensures no internal parallel surfaces and a perfect control over internal resonances.
ESSENTIAL DESIGN
According with the typical clean design language and elegant proportions of the collection, the centre channels’ front baffle is an integral part of the cabinet creating a seamless structure with the curved sides. The gun-metal finished aluminium aesthetic rings, that frame the new drivers, are the only elements that break this continuity.
