The Clearaudio Balance V2 is a sophisticated two-chassis phono stage designed to extract the utmost detail and musicality from your vinyl collection. Building on its acclaimed predecessor, the Balance Plus, the V2 offers enhanced technology while maintaining intuitive operation. Its separate audio and external power supply units, both housed in precision-milled aluminum casings, effectively isolate delicate audio signals from interference, ensuring a remarkably low noise floor.
The Balance V2 supports both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, with a simple switch enabling automatic harmonization with most high-end phono cartridges. It boasts high-precision RIAA equalization accurate to within Ā±0.1Ā dB and includes a switchable 20Ā Hz subsonic filter. Beyond its primary phono duties, the Balance V2 uniquely integrates a volume control, allowing it to function as a minimalist preamplifier capable of driving a power amplifier or active speakers directly. With balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, plus a dedicated headphone output, the Balance V2 offers exceptional versatility, audiophile-grade performance, and elegant simplicity.

Besides the manual volume control, you can choose between mute and automatic mode by button. A simple switch allows you to choose between moving magnet and moving coil mode. From there, the balance V2 will automatically harmonize with almost any high-end phono cartridge without you needing to make any further adjustments.
High precision RIAA equalization achieves an accuracy of within 0.1 dB, while an optional subsonic filter attenuates any unwanted low-frequency noise. A separate power supply in its own aluminum casing keeps any potential unwanted interference at bay.
