This pure Class A, true dual-mono preamplifier embodies Gryphon Audio Designs’ commitment to preserving every nuance of the audio signal without coloration or distortion.
Operating with zero global negative feedback and a pure DC-coupled circuit, the Essence Preamplifier boasts an ultra-wide bandwidth of 0.1Â Hz to 1Â MHz (-3 dB), ensuring exceptional detail, speed, and air in the soundstage. Its sophisticated microprocessor-controlled, balanced relay volume attenuator provides precise 43-step control, placing only one or two resistors in the signal path for ultimate purity.
With separate power supplies for each channel, the Essence Preamplifier eliminates crosstalk and optimizes channel separation. Connectivity is comprehensive, offering balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, along with matching outputs. An optional PS2 Phono Module can be seamlessly integrated for vinyl enthusiasts. Housed in Gryphon’s iconic, resonance-damped chassis with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, the 29.8-pound Essence Preamplifier delivers an incredibly pure, dynamic, and spatially precise musical experience, setting a new benchmark for preamplification.
