These 3-way floorstanding speakers stand as a testament to Sonus faber’s “Amator” heritage, signifying enhanced performance born from their most revered designs.
Central to its sonic excellence is the “Hybrid IFF – Paracross Topology™” crossover, a sophisticated network derived from Sonus faber’s flagship Homage collection. This upgrade brings improved clarity, better transient response, and a more coherent, three-dimensional soundstage. The driver complement includes Sonus faber’s renowned 29mm D.A.D.™ tweeter, a natural fiber 150mm midrange driver in a lute-shaped internal chamber for vocal purity, and dual 165mm “sandwich” woofers for deep, articulate bass.
Aesthetically, the Lumina V Amator captivates with its distinct 45-degree wood grain lacquered front baffle in stunning high-gloss Red, Wenge, or Walnut, elegantly contrasted by black leather. The downward-firing port ensures flexible room placement without compromising bass. Tweeter
The iconic D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter, the same used in the Sonetto series, features a Kurtmueller hand coated soft silk diaphragm of 29mm. The chrome rings around the drivers highlight their shapes and proportions and give brightness to the front baffle.
Midrange
The 5” midranges mirror those from the sister collection, Sonetto, and still feature the Sonus faber proprietary natural fiber and paper blend air-dried diaphragm.
Woofer
The 5’’ woofers were designed from the scratch specifically for the Lumina range. They feature a paper pulp cone for a perfect sonic coherence with the rest for the drivers.
